Dr Emma Hendricks
Eating Disorders Lecturer
Emma is a Registered Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (fBANT, CNHC), Behaviour Change Practitioner and Trainee Health Psychologist (BPS). She specialises in disordered eating, eating behaviour, body image and emotional wellbeing, and is trained in psychological approaches including acceptance and commitment therapy and behaviour change strategies.
Emma is also an educator and mentor, delivering practitioner training on nutrition in eating disorders and behaviour change for organisations including the Institute for Optimum Nutrition and the National Centre for Eating Disorders. She trained at the Institute for Optimum Nutrition, graduating with distinction, and is currently completing a doctorate in Health Psychology focusing on body image and disordered eating.
